I’m delighted to announce that Trends in Ecology and Evolution (TREE) is publishing “The Anthropocene Biosphere: Supporting ‘Open Interdisciplinarity’ through Blogging,” an article about the Anthropocene Biosphere Project that appeared on the blog earlier this year. From the end of January through mid-April we ran a series of posts that discussed Erle Ellis’ article “Ecology in an Anthropogenic Biosphere;” the project concluded with Ellis visiting OU–video of his talk and a panel discussion (supported by the OU Humanities Forum) is posted here.
The article summarizes the project–and comments on the form of interdisciplinary collaboration it represents. It is now available on-line (DOI http://dx.doi.org/10.1016/j.tree.2016.10.018, and will appear in print early next year.
