In spring, 2021 we will offer a series of posts that explore the intersection between environmental justice and environmental health. Posts will be interspersed with videos of talks on the topic organized by the Health Sciences Center Environmental and Sustainable Health Interest Group, and the College of Arts and Sciences Environmental Studies Program, Public and Community Health Program, and the Center for Social Justice, all at the University of Oklahoma. We hope to provide a rich exploration which shows how concern for the environment cannot be detached from a dedication to equity, in particular in the distribution of harms due to environmental degradation.
